Drug Awareness Program Training Sessions Coming Up in October

Kentucky Drug Awareness Chairman Stephen Moore will be holding three Drug Awareness training sessions in early October. If you’re interested in attending, here’s the info:

There will be three training sessions. Each has been located in an effort to reduce driving time for attendees. The dates and locations are:

  • Wednesday, October 10 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Cynthiana Elks Lodge #438
  • Thursday. October 11 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Lyndon Elks Lodge #2052
  • Wednesday, October 17 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Princeton Lodge #1115

Chairman Moore says that “Several areas will be covered and a flash drive containing detailed information and support materials will be given to each Lodge. This is an important session that I encourage all DAP Chairmen and ERs to attend. All others are welcome. The more members you have in the Lodge that are trained in our Drug Awareness Program the better. We need to spread the work load to be effective.

This will be approximately a 2 hour session and refreshments will be served. Come comfortable and ready to give your ideas and input, Laptops and tablets are a benefit. Please plan to arrive prior to 4 PM so we can start on time. I have tried to set a central location to minimize driving time. This is a working session so come with a list of your Lodge’s needs in the Drug Awareness area.”

If you plan to attend, please RSVP via email to per.lyndon@yahoo.com with the subject line as the meeting you wish to attend. Each lodge should send one email confirming who will be attending. He would like to have all responses by October 5 for planning purposes.
