The Frankfort Elks Lodge recently delivered some holiday cheer to shut-in seniors for Thanksgiving. This year, the lodge provided eight seniors two meals for Thanksgiving, as well as a $50 Wal-Mart gift card to help purchase necessities.
The lodge delivers two meals because the Frankfort Senior Activity Center is closed Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and the Elks want to insure these seniors have enough food for the long weekend. The Frankfort lodge asks all Elks and community members to remember our seniors during the holiday season.
